C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar is a Senior Secondary, English Medium, Co- Educational School founded in 1997 by a great thinker & philanthropist Sh. Jyoti Parshad Mittal in the cherished memory of his wife Late Smt. Sheela Devi. Located in a serene environment on Jalandhar-Amritsar Bye-Pass Road, away from the maddening crowds of Jalandhar City, C.J.S. Public School has beautiful & salubrious surroundings. Providing quality Education at affordable cost, C.J.S. Public School got affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi in the year 2001. The school offers all the three streams i.e Science (Medical & Non- Medical), Commerce & Humanities at the senior secondary level. Apart from the academic excellence, the school inculcates in the students a rich value system and a true spirit of good citizenship. An island of excellence, C.J.S. Inception

Jalandhar was in dire need of a quality school which could groom the children with fluency in English communication skills & sense of confidence to cater to the global needs of the children. Sh. Jyoti Parshad Mittal Ji stepped forward and offered. Jalandhar a great institution in the name of C.J.S. Public School. C.J.S. Public School embarked on its first academic session on 2 April 1997 and is today a unique institution chiseling the charater & personality of each student. Since its inception, the school has toiled hard to carve a niche for itself in Jalandhar thereby becoming an outstanding feeder & grafter to various professional colleges.

The school, C.J.S. Public is named after Sh. Jyoti Parshad Mittal & Smt. Sheela Mittal. Sh. Jyoti Parshad Mittal founded the school in cherished memory of his wife Late Smt. Sheela Mittal. Sh. Jyoti Parshad Mittal was a great visionary & a philanthropist. A committed educationist & a man of masses, Sh. Jyoti Parshad Mittal was associated with a large number of social & religious organisations rendering service to the society at large. With the unflinching faith in the Almighty &single minded devotion, he set his foot forward with a vision to translate his dream into reality by establishing C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar whom he considered ‘A temple of learning.’
