The Students’ Council
In order to inculcate confidence, team spirit, leadership qualities & a feeling of social responsibility, the school has developes students council every year comprising School Head Boy, School Head Girl, House captains, Sports captains, Prefects & Floor incharges. Elections are held for the post of Head Boy & Head Girl. Each house is on duty for a week. The prefectorial members of the House on Duty assist their House teachers in performing all the duties assigned to them.
Sports
Keeping in mind that healthy mind resides in a healthy body, the school lays emphasis on the physical fitness & training of the students. Besides regular games period, students are coached in different games by professionals. The school offers extensive sports programme for Basketball, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Badminton & Yoga. Our students participate in the Inter- House & Inter- School competitions. Students also participate in the marathon rallies.
House System
The House system comprises of four Houses namely Jyoti, Jagriti, Pragati & Samriti. Students from class I to XII are divided equally into four houses. Various Inter- House cultural & sports competitions are held to inculcate the spirit of competition & competitive spirit.
Inter- School Competitions
In order to give exposure to the students & to enhance their confidence, students are given ample opportunities to participate in inter- School competitions. The school also hosts various Sahodaya Schools competitions every year. Our students have brought many laurels to the school at Distt. & State level.
Tours & Excursions
The school organises educational tours& excursions to places of educational & historical importance. Tours provide ample opportunities to the students to enrich their horizons & widen their experiences.
Celebrations
The school celebrates all major national & religious festivals as well as important days like Mothers’ Day, Grand Parents’ Day, Children’s day, Teacher’s Day etc.. The whole campus is decorated according to the occasion. A cultural bouquet is presented by the students depicting the festival & celebration. Farewell parties are organised every year for outgoing class with warm greetings & best wishes.
Graduation Ceremony
Graduation Ceremony is organized for the upper kindergarten as these children are to step into primary wing. The little angels feel proud clad in gowns & caps with tassels. Every student & parent cherish the memories of this day. Students of Pre-primary wing & Primary wing put up a cultural programme with warm send off by pre-primary wing & welcome by the Primary wing. Graduation ceremony has added smiles on the faces of students & parents.
Annual Function
Annual function enables the students to portray their talents. Annual Day is celebrated with full enthusiasm & gusto. Teachers, students & parents eagerly await this day. All members of C.J.S. family get together like a well- knit family & labour hard to put an extra – ordinary performance. The cultural Bonanza is a treat to watch.
Newsletter
The school publishes annual newsletter ‘The CJS Voice’ which showcases the activities held in & outside the school. The editorial board records all the activities of the school & presents in the newsletter. Articles, anecdotes & views of the students & parents are also published in the newsletter.
School Fete
School fete is also organized wherein the students & faculty get together & put up stalls of eatables & interesting games. Dignitaries of Jalandhar, Bollywood stars & renowned singers are invited to add flavour to the fete. Raffle draw & Baby show are the important events that are center of attraction for the audience. Students also put up enthralling performance to entertain the audience. School fete is a day full of fun & frolic for teachers as well as students & their parents.
Online Diwali Celebration
On the occasion of Diwali, C.J.S. Public School organised Online Thali Decoration Competition “Creativity is taking a simple thing and bringing it to life”. Under the guidance of our Worthy Management and Honourable Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, on the occasion Diwali ,C.J.S. Public School, organised an ‘Online Thali Decoration Competition’ on November 10, 2020 for Grades- III and IV. The main aim of the competition was to help the students to exhibit their creativity and talent. The students decorated thalis beautifully. They used many innovative ideas for the same. The students participated enthusiastically in this colourful competition. The overall program turned out to be fruitful and a great success. Names of winners are as follow Class III. ONLINE RANGOLI & BANDHANWAR MAKING COMPETITION “Logic will take you from A to B Imagination will take you everywhere.” Einstein Students involved in extracurricular activities are more likely to become leaders, more willing to explore social, political and career interests. They gain experience in different areas that enhances their knowledge. Keeping the same idea in mind, Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, students of class VIII & IX of C.J.S. Public School,Jalandhar took part in ” Online Rangoli & Bandhanwar Making Competition ” on 11th Nov,2020 on the theme: Diwali. Each and every student exhibited tremendous levels of participation skills. Congruent efforts of students led to a great show. The students of class VIIl independently prepared mesmerising floral Rangolis.They used flower petals, coloured rice, flour and eco friendly colours in the course. Classes VIII & IX participated in Bandhanwar making Competition reflecting their imaginations blended with aesthetic talents and creativity.The affinity and charm was observed through their remarkable charismatic designs. Public School, organised ‘Online Best Out of Waste Competition’ for students of classes V and VI, as an initiative to generate the habit of using old things to create beautiful crafts among students, a concept which has global significance. The fun-filled contest ignited their artistic potentials. “Drugs are a waste of time. They destroy our memory and our self-respect and everything that goes along with our self esteem.” Drug addiction is a major social evil of modern times. Major newspaper headlines and sensational television coverage scream about drug abuse and related crimes. Fascination for drugs and their easy availability have heightened the number of drug abuse cases particularly among youngsters. Drugs produce a sense of euphoria but they are very dangerous because the users gradually get addicted and are always at risk of a variety of life-threatening diseases. Addicts face this risk unless they enter long term drug rehab programs and completely quit their drug habit. Keeping this in mind,Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, students of class Xl of C.J.S. Public School,Jalandhar took part in ” Online E-Poster Making Contest ” on 26th Nov, 2020 on the theme: Say No To Drugs. The students of classes Xl participated in the event and much beyond our expectations, they created posters with soul-stirring visuals and thought- provoking slogans. Today, our oceans are facing innumerable threats- from overfishing and pollution to ocean acidification. So we need to raise awareness about the protection and preservation of aquatic life. Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and Online *Blue Day* activity was organised on 26th November, 2020 for the tiny tots of class U.K.G. Our tiny tots showcased their talent enthusiastically during the activity. Our little CJSians wore the chosen sea creatures made of charts and cardboards sea creatures, acted on the sounds of different sea creatures and gave the messages to save the sea creature our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta, s using Pla cards with slogans written on it. Our honorable Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, appreciated our little CJSians by saying that Hunt the animals with the camera and not with the gun as sea is the home to so many insects and animals.

“Ingredients are not sacred; the art of cuisine is sacred indeed! In fact recipes don’t work unless we use our heart.” Cooking is an art and a skill. These days it is a life skill. To live an independent life in its true sense, one should hone the skill of cooking. To create interest in the students in cooking, Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, students of class V & Vll of C.J.S. Public School,Jalandhar took part in ” Online Master Chief Competition ” on 24th Dec, 2020 on the theme- “Cooking without Fire”. Talented Cjsians showed their culinary skills by preparing fireless tantalising cuisines which included Bhel, Sweet Dish and Bread Snacks.The participants skilfully prepared dishes infusing different style, texture, aroma and presentation. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. The event generated a lot of positive interest in the children and they participated eagerly and it was a great success. Public School, organised an ‘Online Card Making Contest’ for Class IV. The theme of the contest was “ Christmas” and the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. It was a wonderful sight to witness the creation of students who with their nimble fingers wove magic on paper. Our tiny tots exhibited their balance vigorously by playing race with the parents with ball on a paper. The main motto of this activity was to inculcate and motivate eye-hand coordination of students. Our tiny-tots participated in the activity enthusiastically. Our honorable Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, appreciated our little players by saying that a healthy mind lives in a sound body. National Youth Day

Public School celebrated an Online 158th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand Ji on January 12, 2021 with exuberance and enthusiasm. Swami Vivekanand Ji- a “great Indian youth icon”, accorded great importance to youth power towards nation-building and universal brotherhood. He considered education to be a continuous process in which all aspects of life, such as physical, intellectual, emotional, mortal and spiritual should be imbibed. His contribution to the creation of a new modern India is incredible. On the occasion, an Online Painting Activity was held for classes III to V to spread the awareness regarding the hazardous consequence of drug addiction among youth. The participants were Class III- Rohanpreet, Simran, Gurnoor, Aditya Kalan, Minajdeep Class IV- Vaibhav, Class V- Anshika, Pawani Respected Madam (Mrs.) Nina Mittal, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, and Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, the venerable Principal, enlightened the students with the life and teaching of Swami Vivekanand Ji.
Online Celebration of Lohri Festival
“The festival of Lohri spreads the message of peace and happiness all around” Under the guidance of the Management Committee and the venerable Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated online ‘Lohri Festival’ on January 13, 2021 with exuberance and fanfare. Lohri is the festival which ushers in the joyous spring and bids adieu to the hard winter. The mood was upbeat and the children actively immersed in the festive spirit. The folk dance Gidda was performed online by Raavi, Mehakrani, Hemakshi and Hargunpreet, students of Class II with full enthusiasm. Navdeep of Class V, presented a speech depicting the significance of the festival. On the occasion, Respected Madam (Mrs) Nina Mittal, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, and Dr. (Mrs) Ravi Suta, the venerable Principal, gave their blessings to all the students and enlightened them with the importance of the festival.
Online Celebration of Army Day
“We are safe because we have our Army keeping us protected each and every moment” Under the guidance of the Management Committee and the venerable Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated an online ‘Army Day’ on January 15, 2021 with a great spirit of patriotism. It is celebrated as a recognition of the first Commander in Chief of the Indian Army, Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa in 1949. It is celebrated every year to salute all the soldiers who have given up their lives for the protection of our country. On this occasion, Prithama, student of class-V presented a speech and the teachers of ‘Jack and Jill Wing’ sung a patriotic song to pay their tribute towards our soldiers. Respected Madam (Mrs) Nina Mittal, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, and Dr. (Mrs) Ravi Suta, the venerable Principal, appreciated the efforts of the student and teachers and expressed profound gratitude towards the Indian Army for their exemplary efforts.

This day is celebrated on 23 January every year on the birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose, who is considered the most influential freedom fighter with extraordinary leadership skills and a charismatic orator. Gurnoor (IVA) shed light on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Harleen Kaur (VIB) made a Power Point Presentation stating the journey of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose life. Respected Madam (Mrs) Nina Mittal, Chairman of School Management Committee and Respected Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta highly admired the efforts of students and motivated them to follow the footsteps of Netaji.

“You Know, Once You’ve Stood Up to Cancer, Everything Else Feels Like a Pretty Easy Fight.” Under the guidance of School Management Committee and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated an ‘Online World Cancer Day’.This day is celebrated on 4th February every year. Sandhya (VA) recited a poem to motivate the cancer sufferers. Mishtha of (Xll comm) presented a Speech on World Cancer Day. Respected Madam (Mrs) Neena Mittal, Chairperson of School Management Committee and Respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta gave awareness to students about this dreadful disease. Under the guidance of School Management Committee and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated ‘Online Safer Internet Day’.This day is celebrated on 9th February this year. This celebration aims to raise awareness of the importance of both a safer and a better internet, where everyone is empowered to use technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. This day is organised to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world. Power Point Presentation was prepared by Abhaya of Class IV and Radhika, Prabhsimran and Suryakant of Class V to encourage everyone to use Internet wisely. Kite Making Contest on Basant Panchami
Since the chilling air of winter has changed into soothing cold breeze, here comes the spring season known as Basant in India, one of the six Indian seasons. Under the guidance of School Management Committee and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated ‘Basant Panchami’ with great zeal and enthusiasm. To mark the advent of spring season, the students of Classes V and VI participated in kite Making Contest. They prepared beautiful kites displaying their creativity and imagination. The winners of the Contest are- First- Pawani (V A), Second- Pranjal (VI B), Third- Jasmine (VI B) On this day, Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta addressed the students and told them not to use Chinese strings for kite flying which is harmful and is the cause of many accidents and deaths even. In the words of J.R.D. Tata “Cleanliness is the hallmark of perfect standards and the best quality inspector is the conscience.” Keeping this in mind,under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. Ravi Suta, *Online Cleanliness Activity* was conducted for the students of *Class I and II* on *30th April,2021.* On this occasion, students made the people aware of how to keep their surroundings clean by speaking different slogans on cleanliness and helping their mothers in different cleanliness chores at home. Our honorable Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that cleanliness helps us stay refreshed and hygienic on a personal level. Further, it lessens the chances of any viruses or bacterias to harm us. Especially, if we talk about today’s scenario, hygiene and social distancing are the most effective ways to stay safe from coronavirus infection.

C.J.S. Public School organises Online Poster Making Competition on World Laughter Day. In the words of Dr. Madan Kataria, ” When you laugh, you change and when you change, the whole world changes around you.” Under the guidance of our Worthy Management and Honourable Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School, organised an ‘Online Poster Making Competition’ on the occasion of World Laughter Day on May 1,2021(Saturday). There was an air of excitement and enthusiasm as eager and committed artists toiled to create masterpieces with vivid ideas and vibrant colours. It was a splendid show of masterstrokes by our young and talented masters. Online Inter House Hasya Kavita Contest was organised for classes VII and VIII. The winners were- First- Jasmine (Class VII Second- Yashika Sama (Class VIII A) Third- Sureet Kaur (Class VII A) Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal and respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta encouraged the students to engage themselves in more artistic activities and appreciated their efforts in making the posters. She emphasized the importance of laughter and positivity among the students, specially during this pandemic period.

In the words of Joy Deneen “Calligraphy is the ultimate synthesis of what I love: Language, art and human connection.” Keeping this in mind,under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. Ravi Suta, *Online Calligraphy Competition* was conducted for the students of *Class II to IV* on *3rd May, 2021.* On this occasion, our little writers showed their handwriting skills through their beautiful writing pieces. Our honorable Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that handwriting skills help children develop reading and spelling skills.She congratulated the winners by sending E-cards. Online Inter House Extempore Competition
“You can speak well if your tongue can deliver-the message of your heart.” C.J.S. Public School,Jalandhar always thrives to cater to the all-round development of their students. The main focus of the school has always been on improving the Soft Skills amongst the students. Keeping this in mind , Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Online Inter House Extempore Competition was organised on 7th May,2021, for the students of classes IX-X. The objective of the competition was to make the students confident and better orators so that they can fearlessly express their views on any topic. Extempore is an excellent way to assist the students not only in spontaneous thinking but also in asserting their creative ideas with precision. The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give in their best on the topics they got. They were asked to present their views in the time slot of 2 minutes. The students showed great fervour and poise in their respective presentation. Online Inter House Poster Making Competition
With the COVID-19 pandemic on rise, the need of the hour is universal adoption of safety measures. As prevention is better than cure, it is essential to strictly follow precautionary measures. Keeping this in mind , Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Online Inter House Poster Making Competition was organised on 8th May,2021, for the students of classes VI-Vll on the topic-Precautionary measures to be taken amidst Covid-19. The participants designed posters with a hard-hitting slogan on it, highlighting the importance of safety measures in curbing the spread of COVID-19. Online Mother’s Day Celebration
Keeping this in mind,under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. Ravi Suta, *Mother’s Day was celebrated Online* by the students of *Jack and Jill wing* with full enthusiasm on *9th May,2021*
On this occasion, our tiny tots showed their gratitude towards their mothers by presenting different items dedicated to them like- songs, dance performances, poems etc. Mothers were overwhelmed to see the efforts which were done by their wards to bring a smile on their face. A special online Mother’s Day celebration was also organised by school management through zoom meet in which mothers participated wholeheartedly with their wards by playing different games, presenting dance performances and showing their charisma through a fashion show . Our honorable Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that when you look into your mother’s eyes, you always find there love for you and that is the purest love you can find on this earth. A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take so we should always respect our mother.
Online International Families Day
“The family is one of nature’s masterpieces.” – George Santayana. Under the guidance of the Management Committee and Worthy Principal Dr. ( Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated an Online International Day for Families on May 15, 2021 with exuberance and enthusiasm. To inculcate the feelings of love and respect for family among the students, an Online Family Tree Making Activity was held for classes III to V. The students made their trees with different materials, pasting the pictures of their family members and decorated them beautifully. Respected Madam (Mrs.) Nina Mittal, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, and Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, the venerable Principal, enlightened the students with the importance of family and motivating them to do deeds which glorify the name and frame of their families.
Online Me and My Phonics Activity
In the words of *Heidi Anne Mesmer*”Good phonics instruction is about learning of architecture of words, what they are made of. It’s about putting words together and taking them apart.” Keeping this in mind,under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. Ravi Suta, *Me and My Phonics Activity* was conducted for the students of *Class U.K.G.* on *18th May,2021.* On this occasion, students made a chart with the ending sounds (like ag, ad, ed, eat, eel, ame, ank etc.) and made flash cards of all the alphabets. After that they framed the words on the chart with alphabets and ending sounds ( like bad, cat, bank, black, bed, peel, seat etc.) Our honorable Madam Chairperson Mrs. Neena Mittal and Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that it is important for children to learn letter- sound relationships because English uses letters in the alphabet to represent sounds. Phonics teaches this information to help children learn how to read. When a child is taught phonics properly, the child will find reading easy and such like activities help in learning phonics in an easy way.
Online Sharing and Caring Activity
In the words of *Mahatma Gandhi*” The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. Ravi Suta, *Online Sharing and Caring Activity* was conducted for the students of *Class II* on *20th May,2021.* On this occasion, students shared their belongings like clothes, toys, books and eatables with needy people and told about the importance of sharing by speaking about why they like to share things with others. Our honorable Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that we should teach our children to help needy people because there is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up. Especially, during the hard times of this pandemic, if we can help someone then it will be the greatest service to the mankind.
Online Fun with Colours Activity
In the words of *Deepika Mahipal*”Life is full of colours…fill it with your favourite colours….” Keeping this in mind,under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. Ravi Suta, *Fun with Colours Activity* was conducted for the tiny tots of *Class Nursery* on *May 21,2021.* On this occasion, students had a lot of fun with colours by doing different activities like drawing different objects such as butterfly, tree, hen, caterpillar etc. using their body parts( palm, hands, fingers and foot), doing car race with the help of colourful toy cars and telling the colours of different balloons while picking them up from a basket. Our honorable Madam Chairperson Mrs. Neena Mittal and Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that teaching children about colours is a great way to give them opportunity for describing the world around them. As children learn to identify colours, they can sort and classify objects around them and such like activities help them in doing so.
Online Activity on ‘NO TOBACCO DAY’
“Be Brighter, Put Down The Lighter” Causing more than 8 million deaths each year, the tobacco epidemic is one of the biggest public health threats the world has ever faced. Research has shown that this habit is mostly picked up during adolescence, reasons for which include peer pressure, curiosity, lack of awareness and influence of media. This year’s theme for the WHO designated ‘World No Tobacco Day’ on 31 May 2021 is “quitting smoking doesn’t have to be stressful.” Concerning with the increase in the rate of addiction to toxicants in our society, under the guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School organised Online Activities on ‘NO TOBACCO DAY’, with the aim to establish awareness among the society members so that they can initiate the development of a society without such addictions. Students of Classes III to V participated in an Online Slogan Writing Activity and a motivational speech was delivered by Sadhavi, student of XII (Science) to make public aware about the health hazards of smoking and making our nation acquaintance with the harmful effects of this craving of drugs in our life. C.J.S. Public School organises an Online Summer Camp under the guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta . Online Summer Camp is being organised from June 5 to 10,2021 for classes Pre Nursery to VIII. On the very first day of the Summer Camp, different activities like Aerobics, Art and Craft, Yoga, Games, Music, Dance, Cooking without fire and Personality Development Sessions were held. Under Cooking without fire, the items that prepared were Summer Drinks, Bhel Puri with Chips, Paan Laddo, Mango Delight. All the activities were informative and entertaining both and were fully enjoyed by the students alongwith their parents. His participation brings a massive change in kid’s academic performance” Keeping this in mind, *Special Online P.T.M. with all the parents of school from classes Pre Nursery to 12 was held by Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta from June9 to 12,, 2021. Our honorable Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta thanked and appreciated the efforts put by the students and the parents to make online teaching and *Summer Camp* an enjoyable, creative, innovative and never forgettable moment. She motivated the students to be regular in their studies and she guided the parents make the students do Yoga and physical exercises during vacation to enhance their physical development. She motivated the parents to give healthy diet as well. She further discussed the upcoming strategies and programs to be opted after vacation period for the improvement in academics alongwith overall development of the students’ personality. Parents also put forward their queries and suggestions which were effeciently solved by Respected Madam Principal. Parents were very happy with this initiative and appreciated the efforts of Management, Principal and staff.
Online International Yoga Day
‘Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature.’ – Shri Narendra Modi. With the objective of inculcating the practice of Yoga and awareness among the people especially in this pandemic period, Under the supervision of Management and guidance of honourable Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated ‘Online International Yoga Day’ on June 21,2021, following CBSE guidelines regarding the same. Students of classes I to XII participated wholeheartedly with their family members to make this a grand event. The students performed Yoga asanas sharing different benefits of Yoga for mental and physical development of our body. School Organised a Free Vaccination Camp for COVID-19
Under the guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School organised a Free Vaccination Camp for COVID-19 Vaccination (Covishield) for 18+ and 45+ age groups with the availability of Dose 1 and 2 (both) on June 25, 2021. It was an initiative from the school side as a social service to serve the humanity. With the objective of making people safe from the deadly disease, COVID-19 and to make the vaccination easily available free of cost ,the camp was organised in the school campus itself. Vaccination process took place effectively and smoothly under the supervision of Medical team of six people headed by Ms. Monika, M.P.H.W. (F) and Dr. Balraj Kumar , B.M.S.(Retd.) from Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. Maximum people including the school staff, parents and public in general got themselves vaccinated in the camp and appreciated the efforts of the school for this noble cause. Keeping this in mind , Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Online National Doctors Day was celebrated on 1st July ,2021. To mark National Doctor’s Day, students expressed their gratitude towards doctors for their selfless services especially during the current Covid pandemic. They prepared various cards highlighting contributions of the medical fraternity to the society. Not only this, students prepared “Thank You Cards”for all the covid warriors like Health Care Workers and Medical Staff.Teachers of the school made the students aware of the importance of the day, highlighting the contribution of doctors in our life. Clay and Mud activities promote the five Motor skills creativity and sensory development of a child. Keeping all this in mind under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam DR. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Online “Little Potter’s Contest” was organised on July 16,2021for the Tiny Tots of U.K.G. class to increase the students’ interest in Art and Craft. Students participated in the contest enthusiastically. Little hands of little Potters showed their talent by making monsoon season, fruits basket and many more beautiful objects. The little Potters were very happy while making these objects out of clay and gained a sense of self confidence. Our honourable Madam Chairperson Mrs Neena Mittal and Respected Madam Principal Dr (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, appreciated our little CJSIANS’ artistic efforts and motivated them to continue such kind of activities in future also. Online Juicy Fruity Activity

Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principle Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, “Online Juicy Fruity” activity was organised for the Tiny Tots of nursery Class. On July 20,2021 Our little CJSIANS’ did the activity enthusiastically in different ways as by placing cards of different fruits and delicious juicy chat(चाट). Children also demonstrated the colour and variety of different fruits…… Mouth-watering fruit chat(चाट) was served to all the teachers and students. Students enjoyed alot. Our worthy and respected Principle Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the CJSIANS’ creativity. Madam motivated the students to make fruits an intergal part of their daily diet. Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Online Inter Class Puppet Show Contest was organised on 22nd July , 2021 for the students of class Vll-Vlll. The students were in high zest and zeal. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity. Online Knife and Spoon Challenge Activity
In the words of JudithMartin “The dinner table is a Centre for the teaching and practicing not just of table manners but of conversation, concentration, tolerance and family feeling”. Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Online “Knife and Spoon Challenge Activity” was organised on 23rd July 2020. The little CJSians participated in Knife and Spoon Challenge Activity with full enthusiasm. The students participated correct table setting procedures and adequate skills that are used during meals and serving the foods. The students decorated their plates beautifully and served the food to their parents. The teachers demonstrated them how to show good table mannees while having lunch and dinner. This fun filled activity really helps the children to learn basic etiequettes while parents had another great experience. Respected Madam (Mrs.) Neena Mittal, Chairperson of School Management Committee and Honorable Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi sutta appreciated the little hands of little children’s for serving a beautiful plates. Madam Principal demonstrated the various skills to students like how to place a cutlery on the table for lunch or dinner, how to hold the fork and spoon while eating and how to use table Mats and napkins.

Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Online “Monsoon Week” was organised for the little ones of class Nursery on July 26 and 27,2021. The little CJSians participated in the Monsoon Week with all enthusiasm. Students made colourfull umbrellas with the help of coloured papers . They danced on song “chak dhoom chak dhoom” with colourful umbrellas in their hands. As monsoon is a beautiful gift of season, keeping the same in mind , students enjoyed this gift of nature happily. Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Online “Monsoon Week” was organised for the little ones of class L.K.G. on July 28 and 29, 2021. The little CJSians participated in the Monsoon Week with all enthusiasm. Students were brought out in open by their parents with umbrellas and rain coats to enjoy the playful rainy weather. They sang and danced on rainy season songs. Paper boats were made and sailed in the water. It was a great joy for students as well as for parents. Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal, and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Sutta appreciated the efforts of little students. Madam Principal elaborated the importance of rainy season by saying that rain is not only water but God’s blessings, especially in summer season.
