Class U.K.G- July 30 and 31,2021

In the words of Denzel ” You pray for rain, you got a deal with the mud too. That’s a part of it”.
Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Online “Monsoon Week” was organised for the little ones of class U.K.G. on July 30 and 31, 2021. The little CJSians participated in the Monsoon Week with all enthusiasm. Students created beautiful rainy season scenes by using coloured papers and cotton. They tried to depict the rainbow also. Their little hands worked as magical vibes. They tried to elaborated the rainy scene with their words also. Students displayed the flash cards of things to do in rainy season and things not to to do in rainy season. It was a great joy for students as well as for parents. Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal, and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of students. Madam Principal elaborated the importance of rainy season by saying that rain is a cool gift of nature which beats the heat with thunder and water.
 
 

                             Online Snake and Ladder Activity

 
In the words of Jim Rohn “Motivation is what gets you started.Habit is what keeps you going.”
Keeping this in mind, under the the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.)Ravi Suta, an online”Snake and Ladder Activity” was organised for the little ones of class lst on August 3, 2021. The smart students with their smart minds participated in this in this activity with all their excitement. According to the instructions of teacher students rolled the dice on the board and moved their pawn towards ladder or snake. Ladder symbolises good habits while snake symbolises bad habits. Students were very excited while reaching to heights by using ladder of good habits like “Always Speak Truth.” The main objective of playing this game was to teach students that if they will inculcate good habits they will surely succeed in their life. Chairperson Madam Mrs.Neena Mittal and Respected Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs)Ravi Suta appreciated Moral development activity of students. They entered the school after Thermal Screening, proper sanitisation and social distancing. The school premises was decorated with colourful balloons and welcome tags. Teachers carried the pom-poms to greet their students happily. Students’ faces were also glowing with smile and excitement on their first day to school as they were anxious to meet their teachers and see the school again after a long time.
Our honorable Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta welcomed our little gems by saying that

                     Hindi Story Telling Competition- Classes V -VI
 
 
Storytelling is a universal and traditional art form that can be used to entertain and educate. At the same time it is often used as a means of imbibing values, improving reading skills and opening children’s minds to a world beyond imagination.
Proving this view,Under the able guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, a Hindi Story Telling Competition was organised for class V and VI. In which the students participated enthusiastically.This competition was really valuable and exclusive. The children confidently narrated the story with creative gestures and facial expressions . They made the storytelling more interesting by using voice modulation and proper use of body language.
The winners of Hindi Story Telling Competition are:
1. Sehaj Preet Kaur from class V and Pavani and Aarushi from class Vl won first position.
2.Arpita and Akshai from class V and Radhika of class Vl shared Second Position.
3. Dhanvii of class V got Third Position.

                                            Teej Celebration
 
 
In the words of Siddharth Katragadda”The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals”.
The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs.
Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, “Teej celebration” was organised on August 11, 2021. All the students of the school participated in this activity with pomp and show
The little ones performed on Punjabi songs alongwith their parents and sent their videos. Parents were also very happy while performing with their little ones.
On the other side for creating a Teej atmosphere in school girls applied Mehandi on their hands and all students and teachers dressed up in traditional Punjabi attire. They all looked mesmerising in traditional Punjabi attire. Girls enjoyed swing ,the Giddha and Bhangra was also performed by the students and teachers They also performed dance on various Punjabi songs. Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal, and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the cultural performances of students. Online Cleanliness Drive in accordance with “Swachh Bharat Mission”
 
”Cleanliness Is next to Godliness”
Under the supervision of Honourable Management and Worthy Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Online Cleanliness Drive in accordance with ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ launched by our worthy Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, was organised by C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar on August 13,2021.The drive comprised of assorted activities for Class III students helping their parents in cleaning the house via brooming, mopping, dusting etc. and sharing their views on the importance of cleanliness to save ourselves from even the fatal disease like Covid-19 and also aims at inculcating dignity of labour into their minds.

The school firmly aimed at powerful words of Mahatma Gandhi.
Therefore, the School organises time and again such activities,so as to make the future generations aware of the dire need of the value of dignity of labour, cooperation, team work and cleanliness etc.

Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta,Inter Class English Debate Competition was organised for the students of classes1X- Xll on the topic :Are we really free or Independent in 21st Century . In English Debate Competition participants presented their views in favour and against the topic.The participants, armed with statistics and data made their arguments more emphatic with their righteous facial expressions and voice modulation. They exhibited great oratory skill. The competition was an enthralling experience for the speakers as well as the audience.

A well accepted definition of Creativity is the generation of a new product that both novel and appropriate in a particular scenario.
To promote the set of creative skills DRV DAV Centenary Public School , Phillaur organised online Inter School Fancy dress competition under the C.B.S.E Hubs of Learning on August 10, 2021. The theme was Best out of waste. The shinning star of C.J.S. Public School Ritanya of class U.K.G participated and grabbed third position and bring laurel to school.
She presented herself under the theme “Swachh Aadat Swachh Barat” she conveyed the message to reduce the waste and inculcate the habit of reusing waste by keeping it in separate bins for dry and wet garbage in innovative ways She wore the dress from best out of waste. Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs Neena Mittal, and Respected Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the performance of Ritanya. Madam Principal congrats Ritanya by saying that a clean environment is essential for the healthy living and it is our social and moral responsibility to make efforts to keep our environment neat and clean.

                          Celebrated 75th Independence Day
 
 
“Thousands laid down their lives so that our country breathe this day. Never Forget their sacrifice.”
August 15,1947 was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got its freedom. It took hundreds of years to break shackles of slavery. People all around the country celebrate this day every year with great pomp and show.
To celebrate our 75th Independence Day ,various activities were organised in C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta.
Patriotic Poems were recited by Gursewak Singh (Nursery), Prerna Gupta and Mannat (Class U.K.G.), and Sehajpreet Kaur, student of class V expressing their love for the Nation.
Heart touching speech was delivered by Arshpreet Kaur, student of Class VII A making us all aware of the supreme sacrifice of our great martyrs who laid their lives for the sake of our freedom. She mentioned that the freedom is precious and it is necessary to preserve it by following the ideals of the great people like Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose etc.
Honourable Madam Chairperson, Mrs. Neena Mittal and respected Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of students. She also motivated the students to contribute wholeheartedly for the development of the Nation and wished everyone a very Happy Independence Day.

“Poetry is simply the most beautiful, impressive and widely effective mode of saying things.”
Keeping this in mind under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, the English Rhyme competition was organised for the Tiny Tots of classes Nursery, L.K.G and U.K.G on August 18, 2021. It made them feel and enjoy the pleasure that the poetry gives. Students participated in this contest enthusiastically and recited the poems melodiously with actions by using beautiful props. They enjoyed the perfection of expressions, thoughts, emotions, rhythm and music of words. Students got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. Young minds conveyed the meaningful messages to society , to save water, to keep the environment neat and clean, to avoid junk food and to plant more and more trees.
Our honorable Chairperson Madam Mrs Neena Mittal and Respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, appreciated the little budding poets’ literary efforts by saying that poetry is the ch breath and finer spirit of all knowledge and motivated them to continue indulging in such activities in future also. Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions.
Keeping this in mind under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Rakhi (The bond of love) Activity was organised for classes L.K.G and U.K.G and Rakhi making contest was also held for classes 7th and 8th on August 21, 2021. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like thread, ribbon, mirrors, paper flowers, buttons, sponge, bangles and bindi etc. Students decorated their Thalis in different ways and displayed Rakhis on decorated Thalis. Students artisanship was quite fascinating and they enjoyed this activity and tickled their creative side.
Our honorable Madam Chairperson Mrs Neena Mittal and Respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, appreciated the minds of students by saying that such celebrations of festivals with the true spirit teach students about thire Indian traditions. She also said that Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters to strengthen this bond.

Ishaan of C.J.S.Public School won 3rd Position in Online Inter School Extempore Competition
Under C.B.S.E. Hubs of Learning an online Inter school Extempore Competition was organised by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police School,Phillaur (Jalandhar) on 21st August,2021.
The objective of the competition was to make the students confident and better orators so that they can fearlessly express their views on any topic. Extempore is an excellent way to assist the students not only in spontaneous thinking but also in asserting their creative ideas with precision.
From each School two participants were allowed to take part.
The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give their best on the topics they got.
Ishaan of Class X from C.J.S.Public School won the third position.
The competition concluded successfully with great words of encouragement and appreciation from the respected judges.

                                            National Sports Day 
 
Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, National Sports Day was celebrated in C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar. This day is celebrated every year on August 29 as it is the birth anniversary of the famous hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand.
On this day various activities were conducted in school to inculcate the importance of sports among the students.
Students of classes I and II played different games with their family members.
A wonderful speech was delivered by Abhaya and Arpita, students of class V, stating the importance of the day.
Jasleen Kaur, Aarohi, Gurnoor, Abhaya and Jasleen David , students of Class V played various games like basketball and badminton to spread the importance of staying healthy and fit specially during this pandemic period.
Honourable Madam Chairperson, Mrs.Neena Mittal and respected Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged them to take up sports as it has a direct connection with fitness and is necessary for a healthy life. By taking sports as a career and by playing well, the students can make their parents and Nation feel proud.
 
 
 
                                       Celebrated Janamasthami
 
In the words of Agnivesh ” Spiritually, life is a festival, a celebration. Joy is the essence of life”.
Keeping this in mind under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Janamasthami was celebrated on 28th August 2021 for the students of class U.K.G. Janamasthami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna. The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of comphor and the jingle of bells filled the air.
The students dressed up smartly as Lord Krishna and Radha complete with flutes, peacock feathers and Matkas. The premise was decorated with fresh flowers. Students danced beautifully on devotional songs. The purpose of the celebration was to inculcate value of sharing and respect in students.
Our honorable Madam Chairperson Mrs Neena Mittal and respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta blessed all the students on this auspicious day and gave them the message of focusing on Karma without thinking about the results, the message as given to Humanity by Lord Krishna.

                                Celebrated Hindi Diwas

 
Under the supervision of Honourable Management and Worthy Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Hindi Diwas was celebrated in C.J.S. Public School on September 14,2021.
Hindi got an exalted status in India on September 14, 1949, when it was adopted as the official language of the country. Since then September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas to pay tribute to the official language of India. Today, Hindi enjoys the status of Rashtra Bhasha. In today’s highly commercialized environment ,where people are forgetting their roots, Hindi Diwas plays a significant role as a patriotic reminder to the Indian population about their common roots and unity.
A speeches were delivered by Sara Sharma, student of Class V and Kirti, student of Class VIII to mark the importance of Hindi as our national language. She stressed the point that somebody who speaks the authentic Hindi language is not the one who is left behind in the society instead is the one who deeps down inside is taking ahead the uniqueness of this beautiful language.
Respected Madam (Mrs) Neena Mittal, Chairperson of the School Management Committee and Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta , the venerable Principal, highly appreciated and applauded the efforts of the students. She urged the youth of India to come forward and join hands in promoting Hindi language and stay connected for the progress of this language.

“Mental Health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how
you drive, not where you’re going.”
The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilise efforts in support of mental health.
The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.
Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, “World Mental Health Day” was celebrated.On this occasion Declamation Competition was organised for class IX students.On this special day students delivered speeches on the significance of this day and why mental health is important to us.

                                           Dussehra Celebration 

“Virtue always wins over vice.”
This message is spread and taught since generations by celebrating Dussehra festival in our country. This festival is believed to be the symbol of victory of virtue over vice, as the Lord Rama got victory over demon king Ravana.
Dussehra is always believed to have a historical as well as cultural significance.
Under the guidance of our Worthy Management and Honourable Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School, celebrated
Dussehra with full fun and frolic.
On this occasion, a special morning assembly was held by the students of class V under the supervision of the Academic Coordinator, Ms. Rachna Sharma.
Speech displaying the importance of the day was delivered by Abhaya, student of class V and acquainted everyone with the concept of goodness winning over evil.
Students of Classes I and II performed the role play with different characters from the great epic ‘Ramayana’.
Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta gave her warm wishes and blessings to all. She also encouraged the students by quoting the inspirational examples from the great epic during the assembly.

Art is an expression of our thoughts, emotions and desires. Its about sharing the way we experience the world.
In *C.J.S. Public School,* we empower our students with their powerful medium of expression.
Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, ‘Inter Class Drawing and Painting Contest’ was conducted on October 19,2021 for the classes III to V to nurture the young artists and sharpen their thinking skills. It was a delightful experience for the young stars to be complimented for their amazing creativity on the given theme of ‘Diwali’.
The contest was conducted in the respective classes under the supervision of the experts. Students were seen immersed in various impressive drawings. Some of them were beyond the imaginations.

Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Inter Class Paper Bag Making Competition was organised for the students of class VlII on October 28,2021.
The students made beautiful paper bags in different sizes. This turned out to be a simple yet tricky activity. In a fun-filled activity, students were inspired to contribute to Mother Nature by using paper bags and saying no to plastic bags. The children displayed their creativity and artistic skills by making attractive paper bags and decorating them in an attractive manner.

                         Diya and Candle Decoration Activity( Classes I-II)

 
Celebrations of Diwali commence with lighting of diyas ,candles and puja. In order to add a twist to the celebration this time,Under the Supervision of honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs Neena Mittal and able guidance of Respected Principal madam Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta , Diya and Candle Decoration Activity was organized by C.J.S. Public School , Jalandhar on October 29.2021 for the little artists of class 1st and 2nd . They used their creative skills when they beautifully decorated earthen diyas using poster colours, sparkles, mirrors, ribbons, pencil shavings and other decorative material. All little artists put on their thinking caps and decorated them with utmost neatness. This activity prepared the students completely for Diwali by setting them in such a mood. Honorable chairperson Madam Mrs Neena Mittal and Respected Principal madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little artists by saying that this activity provided them with an opportunity to have different ways of celebrating an eco-friendly and safe Diwali along with a platform to show their creativity.

The main aim of the competition was to help the students to exhibit their talent, showing love & pray to God by decorating ” Aarti Thali” with flowers, Sindoor, Jyot, Diya and other items. Children decorated thalis beautifully. They used many innovative ideas for decorating thali. The students participated enthusiastically in this colourful competition.The overall program turned out to be fruitful and a great success.

Public School, Jalandhar in which many student participated and displayed their skills tremendously. The commendable efforts of the students led to a great performance. The students of class VIII Independently participated prepared Rangoli . Participants used flower petals, colored rice, flour and eco-friendly dyes. Classes VI A and B showcased their imaginations through beauty talents and creativity by participating in Bandhanwar Making Competition.                                      Children’s Day Celebration

“There is no garden as beautiful as childhood”
A day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar. It all began with a special school assembly wherein the teachers stepped in to the shoes of our students and conducted the entire assembly.
The assembly started with the prayer in which both students and teachers participated whole heartedly. Anchoring for the occasion was done by Ms. Anamjot. To highlight the Importance of the day an informative speech was delivered byMs.Manwinder kaur, Thought of the day was presented by Ms.Gurjot. A special pledge for students was there by Ms. Manisha.
Teachers gave various performances for the students in order to exhibit their love and affection for them .Ms. Sarabjeet recited a beautiful poem. A special song depicting the innocence of childhood was sung by Ms.Dimple. Students cheered their teachers on as they saw them on stage.Students looked very excited and happy.
Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta shared few words of wisdom on this special day with students &encouraged the students to be good students & follow rules and regulation of the school & respect the teachers , parents and elders.

Student came up with beautiful thoughts on kindness. They had taken out their value of kindness in the form of words to express it.
It was marvelous to see the students to express their values of kindness in such a beautiful quotations.

Drug addiction is a major social evil of modern times. Major newspaper headlines and sensational television coverage scream about drug abuse and related crimes. Fascination for drugs and their easy availability have heightened the number of drug abuse cases particularly among youngsters. Drugs produce a sense of euphoria but they are very dangerous because the users gradually get addicted and are always at risk of a variety of life-threatening diseases. Addicts face this risk unless they enter long term drug rehab programs and completely quit their drug habit.
Keeping this in mind,Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, students of class Xl of C.J.S. Public School,Jalandhar took part in ” E-Poster Making Contest ” on 17 Nov, 2021 on the theme: Say No To Drugs.
The students of classes Xl participated in the event and much beyond our expectations, they created posters with soul-stirring visuals and thought- provoking slogans.

Maths and Science Quiz aims to promote the study of science and mathematics, helping students develop quick thinking about the everyday world around them and develop an inquiry and scientific mind.
Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our Honourable Madam Principal
Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Inter House Quiz Competition was organised for the students of classes VII and VIII on 28th December 2021 at C.J.S. Public School, Jalandhar.
The competition was a three-stage competition comprising the fields of Science and Mathematics. There were 5 teams in total.First of all, written examination of the students was taken and out of which 10 students were shortlisted. Two students participated in each team. The mastermind round was conducted in the first phase, buzzer round in the second phase and passing the pass in the third phase. Students demonstrated their intelligence and excellence through this competition.

Swami Vivekanand Ji- a “great Indian youth icon”, accorded great importance to youth power towards nation-building and universal brotherhood. He considered education to be a continuous process in which all aspects of life, such as physical, intellectual, emotional, mortal and spiritual should be imbibed. His contribution to the creation of a new modern India is incredible.
On the occasion, a beautiful speech was delivered by Mannat Puri of Class V sharing the importance of this day.

Students of C.J.S. Public School,Jalandhar participated in Bhasha Sangam, an initiative of DoSEL under Ek Bharat Shreshtra Bharat Progeamme.

National Education Policy 2020 outlines the vision to place emphasis on the promotion of Indian languages. Accordingly, Bhasha Sangam is an initiative of Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat programme with the objective of familiarising every child with simple sentences in all the 22 languages under Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India, taking up at least one language on each working day.

 Under the supervision of Management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Khushi of Class IX A and Navdeep Kaur of Class Vl B participated in Bhasha Sangam, an initiative of DoSEL under Ek Bharat Shreshtra Bharat.

Free Vaccination Camp for Covid-19( Day -1)

Under the guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School organised a Free Vaccination Camp for COVID-19 Vaccination for 15-18 years of childrenand Booster dose was also made available on January 24, 2022. It was an initiative from the school side as a social service to serve the humanity.
With the objective of making people safe from the deadly disease, COVID-19 and to make the vaccination easily available free of cost ,the camp was organised in the school campus itself.
Vaccination process took place effectively and smoothly under the supervision of Medical team headed by Dr.Sandeep Bhatia with 4 team members from PatelHospital, Jalandhar.
Respected Madam (Mrs.) Neena Mittal, Chairperson, Mr. Lalit Mittal, Secretary of the School Management Committee and Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of the medical team involved in making the vaccination camp a grand success.

Online Interactive Session ( Class X -XII) Madam Principal with the Parents

C.J.S. Public School organised Online Interactive Session of Madam Principal with the parents of classes X & Xll
Under the guidance of Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal and our worthy Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an online Interactive Session was organised on 26th January,2022.The agenda of the session was preparation for board examinations. The objective of the session was to make the students and their parents aware about the new examination pattern of CBSE. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta introduced the parents to the educational changes and board exams of classes X and XII.
Parents were guided to encourage their wards to do self study, ask questions from the teachers, practice sample papers and attend classes regularly, all aimed at improving the academic output.
Both parents and students enthusiastically participated in the session and asked a variety of questions related to studies. The parents of the children wholeheartedly expressed their gratitude to the school’s Principal Dr.(Mrs) Ravi Suta and Chairperson Madam Mrs. Meena Mittal for such an informative session.

According to Pablo Picasso “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday’s life”.
Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta Online Little Picasso of C.J.S. Activity was organised via zoom for our little ones of class II. In this students created their own colourful world on the paper with the help of their imagination and different articles such as fork, ear bud, thumb.
Students had performed very well and enjoyed a lot in this activity.

According to Patti Smith “Vowels are the most illuminated letters in the alphabets. Vowels are the colours and souls of poetry and speech.
Keeping this in mind, under the able guidance of Management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta *Online Vowles Activity* was organised for our little ones of class L.K.G. In this students made flashcards of alphabets (a to z) . Students made three letter words with the help of flashcards and showed real objects alongwith words made by them. Students did well in this activity and made many new words

Since the chilling air of winter has changed into soothing cold breeze, here comes the spring season known as Basant in India, one of the six Indian seasons.
Under the guidance of School Management Committee and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated ‘Online Basant Panchami’ on 5th February,2022 with great zeal and enthusiasm.
To mark the advent of spring season, the students of Classes V & VI participated in Kite Making Contest. They prepared beautiful kites displaying their creativity and imagination.

In this, teacher had given one sound or alphabet to the students. Students had spoken as many words as they could began from that particular sound or alphabet. Students did well in this activity and made different words.

Kirti Gogna of C.J.S.Public School,Jalandhar brought laurels to school by winning – Third Position in Sahodaya Inter School English Declamation Competition.

As the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the normal lifestyle of the people across the globe though the world has come to the rescue. The main motive behind celebrating International Safe Internet Day is to encourage people especially children and young people for safer and more responsible use of online and mobile phones.
Keeping this in mind, Under the supervision of management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S Public School, Jalandhar organised an online Power Point Presentation Competition on February 8, 2022 for classes Vll & Vlll .The theme of the competition was -Safer Internet Day. Students participated enthusiastically and with great enthusiasm in this competition. The students showed creative skills and prepared several slides presenting the merits and demerits of the Internet.
The winners of the online Power Point Competition are:

             Session Ending Party for the tiny tots of Pre- Nursery*

According to Anonymous ” Today a reader. Tomorrow a leader.” Keeping this in mind, a Session Ending Party for Pre Nursery was organised in the school campus under the able guidance of school management and our worthy respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta. Students of Pre Nursery had a lot of fun in this party. Balloons and chocolates were distributed amongst them while giving them their progress cards.
Students danced a lot and celebrated their success.
On this occasion, honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal and respected Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated our little ones and motivated them for their future endeavors. Madam Chairperson Ms. Neeta Mittal and Ms. Deepali Goyal were the Guests of the day. On this day a colourful programme was presented by the little CJSians.Programme was started with the welcome address by Madam Principal followed by the welcome song by the students of class U.K.G. A value based skit was also presented by the students. Girls stole the hearts of audiance with their marvelous performance in Giddha . In the end, students of class U.K.G. were given the trophies and titles by Guest of the day Ms Deepali Goyal alongwith Madam Principal as per the qualities, they exhibited throughout the session. C.J.S. Public School Students Participated in “Pariksha Pe Charcha-2022”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, parents and teachers today during his Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 interaction with students.Classes X & Xll participated in this event.
In this PM Modi talked to students about keeping calm and acing the incoming exam season.
He also guided that students must connect with their inner self while preparing for examination. Using an iPad or being online gives us happiness but students must understand their inner self as it is more joyous than being online. Students must take out few minutes every day to reflect inside themselves.

A special morning assembly was organised by Class V in which Ishmeet, student of Class V delivered a motivating speech, inculcating the habit of exercise, yoga and meditation to lead a healthy life.
Students of Classes IX and X performed different Yoga Asanas to celebrate the occasion.

“Wheat crop is ready to harvest, time to rejoice, fruits to reap of blood and sweet and get joyous and celebrate life.”
Under the guidance and supervision of our Worthy Management and Honourable Madam Principal, Dr. ( Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School celebrated Baisakhi, the harvest festival of Punjab on April 13,2022.
A special morning assembly was organised by Class V in which , Guneet, student of Class V, delivered a wonderful speech, sharing the importance of the day with the aim to recharge and keep high spirits to celebrate the festival of joy with loved ones.
A group song was also performed by students of class V, making the celebration more colourful.
Students of U.K.G. class were dressed in Punjabi attire. They made kites and were shown the wheat to make them more aware of the importance of the day.

Under the able guidance of school management and our Worthy Respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Orientation Programme was organised on April 15, 2022 (Friday) for the parents of classes Pre-Nursery and Nursery in the school campus.
Firstly Madam Principal welcomed all the parents present for Orientation Programme.
On this day, a powerpoint presentation was shown to tell the parents about teaching strategies of school for the new session. Parents were told about the teaching strategies which are going to be implemented in this session such as experiencial learning, activity based learning, focus on learning skills, enhancing spoken english, co- curricular activities for the overall development of students, development of motor skills through games.
Besides this, parents were also informed about code of conduct and were given some health tips for their wards.
In the end , parents were motivated to ask their queries and put forward their suggestions for the students’ overall development.
On this occasion, Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal and Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta were also present. “Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more.”
Under the able guidance of School Management and our Worthy Respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, an Orientation Programme was organised on April 19, 2022 (Tuesday) for the parents of classes *Ist* in the school campus.
On this day, a powerpoint presentation was shown to the parents.
Looking into the concern of increasing health issues these days amazing tips on “how to maintain good health at young age” were given.
An interactive talk on “Good Parenting”was presented.
Few teaching strategies like activity based learning , focus on learning skills, enhancing spoken english ,co-curricular activities for the overall development of the students were discussed
Madam principal expressed her gratitude towards the parents for their support and cooperation towards the school and guided them to spend quality time with their children.
In the end , parents were encouraged to ask their queries and put forward their suggestions for the students’ overall development. Parents appreciated the efforts of school and shared their valuable suggestions
On this occasion, Honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs. Neena Mittal was also present. She said that this orientation programme was organised to guide the parents about school curriculum (a unique blend of academic and non acadamic activities) which will be really beneficial for their children.

C.J.S. PUBLIC SCHOOL, JALANDHAR ORGANISED INTER CLASS PAPER BAG COMPETITION
For the creative development of the students, Under the supervision of management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S Public School, Jalandhar organised Inter Class Paper Bag Competition on 15th April, 2022 for class Vlll. In this students participated enthusiastically and displayed their creativity.
The winners of the Inter Class Paper Bag Competition are:
1.Pranjal of class Vlll B got First Position.
2.Gagandeep Kaur of class Vlll B got Second Position.
3.Harleen Kaur of class Vlll A won Third Position.

This program focused on various skills. Moreover new ventures for this session were introduced like Panel discussion , More emphasis on Science Practicals etc. Parents were made aware about the two skills subjects Artificial Intelligence and Mass Media as introduced according to the CBSE guidelines .                            Prefectorial Investiture Ceremony
 
C.J.S. PUBLIC SCHOOL, JALANDHAR ORGANISED PREFECTORIAL INVESTITURE CEREMONY
Under the supervision of management and guidance of our worthy Madam Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, Investiture ceremony was organised on 23rd April, 2022 in the school.
The ceremony began with the morning prayer and after the prayer Coordinator of Senior wing Mam Sapna presented bouquet to Mam Principal and welcomed her on this auspicious ceremony.After this mam Principal honoured Mam Archana as PA to Principal and all the four House Masters/House Mistresses by giving badges.The event further continued with the facilitation of Head Boy and Head Girl.
Darshpreet of class 12th was honoured as Head Boy and Richa as Head Girl by the Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta by giving batches and sachets.Moving further in this ceremony House Masters and Mistresses gave batches and sachets to Captains, Vice Captains and House Prefects of the four Houses- Meghna, Godavari, Kaveri and,Krishna.
The House Captain batch of Maghna house was given to Jasmeen of class Xll Com and Vice Captain batch was awarded to Muskan of Xll Sci.
House Captain & Vice Captain of Godavari house are Harmanjot of class Xll Sci and Radhey of class Xll Com.
House Captain & Vice Captain of Kaveri house are Ishaan Singh of class Xl and Mehak of class Xl.
House Captain & Vice Captain of Krishna house are Shailputri of class Xll Sci & Taranpreet of class Xl respectively.The event was further followed by facilitating the
deserving and meritorious students from classes I to XII by
giving batches of class representatives.Further
In the ceremony, the Head Boy and the selected students took oath to discharge their
responsibilities.
After this Head girl Richa of class Xll Sci shared her experience and gratitude to the teachers and management in her speech.
Respected Madam (Mrs) Neena Mittal, Chairperson of School Management Committee and Honourable Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta congratulated the esteemed members and inspired the school students to move forward on the path of progress.

                            Cleanliness Activity for Classes Ist and 2nd
 
According to George Bernard Shaw “Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world”.
Keeping this in mind, Cleanliness Activity was organised in the school campus under the able guidance of School Management and our Worthy Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta. In this activity students were divided into three groups they were told to arrange their books, notebooks, bottles, desks, etc in proper manner and keep their surrounding clean in given time . Students did very well in this activity.
On this occasion, Our Honourable Madam chairperson Mrs. Neena Mittal and Our Worthy Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta were also present. She told them about cleanliness. She motivated them to keep their classrooms as well as their surroundings clean and put garbage in the bin.

On May 2, 2022, for the poetic development of children in CJS Public School, Inter house comedy- Haryana kavita competition was organized between classes VII and VIII under the guidance of the school management and our honorable Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta in which all the children participated with great enthusiasm and spread the shade of humor by presenting comic poems on various subject.
The winner of this competition are:

On this occasion, our little writers showed their handwriting skills through their beautiful writing pieces.
Judgement was done by Ms Shaila,Ms Rachana,Ms Baljeet on the basis of Presentation, Formation and Neatness.
Our honourable Chairperson Madam Mrs Neena Mittal and Respected Madam Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of little CJSians by saying that handwriting skills help children develop reading and spelling skills.She congratulated the winners.

C.J.S. Public School organised Free Vaccination Camp for COVID-19
Under the guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, C.J.S. Public School organised a Free Vaccination Camp for COVID-19 Vaccination for 12-14 & 15-18 years of students on 9th May,2022.Both doses of vaccines were available.It was an initiative from the school side as a social service to serve the humanity.
With the objective of making people safe from the deadly disease, COVID-19 and to make the vaccination easily available free of cost ,the camp was organised in the school campus itself.
Vaccination process took place effectively and smoothly under the supervision of Dr. Sangeena & Medical team from UPSC, Maqsudan
Respected Madam Mrs.Neena Mittal, Chairperson, Mr. Lalit Mittal, Secretary of the School Management Committee and Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta, School Principal appreciated the efforts of the medical team involved in making the vaccination camp a grand success.

that they can fearlessly express their views on any topic. Extempore is an excellent way to assist the students not only in spontaneous thinking but also in asserting their creative ideas with precision. The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give in their best on the topics they got.The students showed great fervour and poise in their respective presentation.

C. J. S. Public School,Jalandhar organised a Thanks Giving Activity for Class 1st*
According to Barbara de Angelis “Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. Bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.”
Keeping this in mind, Thanks Giving Activity was organised on May 16,2022 (Monday) in the school campus under the able guidance of School Management and our Worthy Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta. In this activity Students created their own way of saying thank you to the workers by making card using their hand impression and by writing the beautiful messages on the card. The cards and flowers were presented to those workers who help us in our daily chores. Students did very well in this activity.

                        Me and My Phonics Activity
 
C. J. S. Public School,Jalandhar organised a Me and My Phonics Activity for Class U.K.G.*
According to Martin Kozloff, if a child memorises 10 words, the child can only read 10 words. But if a child learns 10 sounds, the child will be able to read 350 three sound words, 4320 four sound words, 21650 five sound words.
Keeping this in mind, Me and My Phonics Activity was organised on May 19,2022 (Wednesday) in the school campus under the able guidance of School Management and our Worthy Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta. In this students had made a word chain . Teacher had given colourful papers and different alphabets. Students had to create the words by using those alphabets. Students did very well in this activity.

According to Alex Nguyen “Life is a vivid picture of many different colors. Each color will make our life more interesting”.
Keeping this in mind, Fun with Colours Activity was organised on May 21,2022 (Saturday) in the school campus under the able guidance of School Management and our Worthy Respected Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.)Ravi Suta. In this Students did hand Impression with multiple colours.The students dipped their hands in various colourful paint and imprinted their palms on a chart paper. Students enjoyed alot in this activity.

                           Global Day of Parents

 

 
In the words of Jim De Mint “One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad”.
Keeping this in mind,under the able guidance of Management and our worthy Respected Principal Madam Dr.(Mrs.) Ravi Suta, *Global Day of Parents was celebrated* by the students of *Class L.K.G. and II* with full enthusiasm on **June 1, 2022*
On this occasion Madam Principal welcomed all the parents then our tiny tots showed their gratitude towards their parents by presenting different items dedicated to them like- welcome dance, Motivational skit , and Bhangra.
Parents also participated in modelling and showed their talent. Different fun games were also organised for the parents parents enjoyed a lot by playing games like blow the balloons, couple dance, tongue twister etc

Parents were overwhelmed to see the efforts which were made by their wards to bring a smile on their face.

C.J.S. Public School organised a Summer Camp under the able guidance of Management and our worthy Principal Madam Dr. (Mrs.) Ravi Suta .
Summer Camp is being organised from June 6, 2022 to June 11,2022 for classes Nursery to V. On the first and second day of the Summer Camp, different activities like Pool Party, Dance , Best out of waste and Fireless cooking were organised.
Students enjoyed a lot in pool party. While splashing water, they beat the heat with full fun then they rocked the dancing floor on dance beats.
Under fireless cooking, items like lemonade and Monaco crunch were made by the little ones. They also learnt to make best use of waste material by making beautiful photo frame.
All the activities were entertaining and were fully enjoyed by the students.
